Elder Haven & Hope

With the support of the Jim Moran Foundation, the Elder Haven & Hope program provides an extra level of service to those 60 years of age and older by placing seniors in emergency overflow housing until a longer-term placement can be secured.

About

The Elder Haven & Hope Program provides priority enhanced services to the elderly (60 and older) population who experience homelessness and are at-risk because of their age, psychological and physical health condition. While the focus stays on permanently housing elderly people who are experiencing homelessness, the immediate goal is often to help them access emergency housing at the Elder Haven shelter, and then empower them to use the services we offer that will support their ability to quickly obtain permanent housing.
